”Hemmi’ is almost five, ( Sept. 17th) so sadly for him ( and I) that meant that he missed out on Kindergarten this year.
I was going to enroll him in a Preschool but at,
$115.00 a month, not eligible for free learning;and no State Mandatory requirements to send him anywhere…
I figured, ”I’ll teach him what I know, at home.”
I’m not very book smart ; I’m more into Street Smart and Common Sense ; which I think is a form of education, that a lot of kids are lacking.
I do feel guilty about ”Hemmi” not going to pre school , but I think, “he’s a smart enough kid that; what useful stuff he doesn’t learn at home, he’ll have no problem learning at real school.”
Until then…
I let modern technology do some of his schooling for me.
So today he wanted to know…
“ How come Caillou has that water in his room anyway”?
